best way to repair small tear
I just discovered a 1.5" tear on my Venom. Since I don't have access to the inside of the cell, what would be the best way to "seal" this small rip?

Reach in and place a bit of scotch tape inside the tear and overlap the torn material just a bit (using the tape to hold it in place). Now run a thin
bead of super glue / krazy glue over the tear extending the bead for about 1/4" beyond the tear. The bond will be permanent, malleable and stronger
than the material it is holding. But the key is to get it right the first time as the bond is permanent and it only works if you can overlap a bit of
the material smoothly as it will cause a slight pucker. The glue must be CA (cyno acrylic or something like that - the main ingredient of super
glue).
Or you can by ripstop tape or sail tape, etc and tape it. A 1.5" taped or glued tear is not a big deal in a low load area that doesn't cross a seam.

Thanks guys - just ordered the Type A Tear Aid kit. Do I have to worry about the adheasive on this patch seeping through and sticking to the second
skin when I apply pressure to the patch?
