Right off the main road as I recall. Got on ssi, stayed to the right and I seem to remember it at a junction. I could be way off base so you'll just
have to come with us when we go

I think I need to introduce you guys to Captain Stans Smokehouse. 14 miles south of exit 29 in Woodbine GA.. A real dive, mostly outdoors with dirt
floors and picnic tables. Chandeliers are 5 gallon paint buckets hanging upside down from a tree branch with a flood light in it. Great ribs,
chicken and shrimp and sides with everything homemade.
Live band and dirt dance floor. Fire pit in the middle if weather is right. Oh, and pet friendly - bring the dogs (we always do)
Capt. Stan will likely be there to check on your table.
Not a cheap meal as you might imagine from my description but worthwhile IMO.

Fiona and I arrived late today (Sunday) but booked into a hotel off island and just spent the evening dragging gear into the hotel and taking it easy.
Will get over to Jekyll tomorrow and probably do a trip to savanah one day before I get buggying and don't stop. Also brought a couple of boards to
hit the water at some point.

Will be there tomorrow, mid afternoon. Getting some culture on the Suwannee River. Is kite fort up and running? Would the best plan be to drop buggy
and such off before heading to State Park? Once I park I don't want to drive again for a few days.

Looking forward to welcoming you. Kite Fort will be up and running not until Wednesday. You can assemble the buggy for the day and duct-tape it or
bungee it to you vehicle for the night. this is the South and that will be completely normal.

There has been a lot of interest about this so I have printed up maps and directions (it's real easy). Will have them tomorrow and throughout the
week. Get some South in your mouth.

Sorry to say it guys but I don't think I'm going to be able to bring the compressor like I was talking about earlier... I'm packing the car for 2
trips and I'm just not gonna be able to get it in.
I wasn't thinking it would get a great deal of use anyhow, and I'm sure someone will be bringing a bicycle pump or 2
I'm going to take a nap now

I travelled all last week for work, I'm taking three days off this week to go to Jekyll Island, and will be travelling again next week. Needless to
say I'm all backed up and worried about my work backlog. How am I going to enjoy myself at JIBE with all that hanging over my head? So I went to my
boss this morning to have the "workload, deadlines, and priorities" talk. He told me to go to JIBE and not worry about it, it'll all still be here
when I get back.
Didn't know he had an awesome streak! I'm outta here at 5 today with no worries, and on the beach tomorrow afternoon. Looking for some aoxomoxoa for
sure!

HaHaHa I had a talk with the sheriff last night as I cam over the bridge after leaving Jyckell Island, 63 in a 35. As the discussion turned to the
"things on the back of your truck", he said slow down, the next time I wont give you a warning.
Sometimes I end up on the good end of the deal, besides I dont think he knew if it was me or the race car that was in front of me.
Be safe guys.

Sorry to say I will be absent this year. Missed the inaugural event but have been at every one since.
Son graduates from USC (South Carolina) on Saturday and receives his 2nd LT bars that afternoon courtesy of the Air Force and ROTC. He departs for
active duty at Cannon AFB, NM on May 22.
Sending a wish for fair and steady on-shore winds thru Sunday.
All will be missed.
