Flying Tensor 5M in 3MPH Winds

Flew the Tensor 5.0M in 3-4MPH winds a week ago. It was a epic failure on my end projecting the winds speeds I was expecting 8-15mph winds and blew complete air on that day. Im usually really good about projecting the wind patterns but dam ended up pulling out the 5.0M to see if it would fly decently. I wouldnt of been able to get it up if I didnt have a buddy at the end making sure the vents were open though. Nonetheless it was still a load of work keeping that sucker moving in literally no wind. Was successful though only flew it for about 5 minutes though and went home

( Hold on trying to add the picture )

Glad you at least got it in the air.

As you saw you must keep the kite moving in those winds. Try your 3m Beamer in those winds next time. You will still need to keep it going and have a much smaller window but the faster turning will make it a bit more fun.

Mood: Go Fly A Kite!

make sure you have it on the least lift setting in those winds to help reduce the drag. This will give you a little better chance. But in those light of winds bikini watching would be more interesting than trying to fly a kite
