JIBE - Sea Turtle Center Tour, now Sat @ 11 am

I have confirmation from the Georgia Sea Turtle Center on Jekyll Island that our private group tour will be on Saturday the 11th at 11 am.

This is an option and the cost is $10, or $8 for kids 12 or under. Highly recommended. You can always visit on your own for the same price but as a group, we benefit from a personal guide to take us around, including the hospital section where they will introduce us to the patients, explain their history, treatment and prognosis as well as answer questions.

If you have been before, it can still be interesting since the patients and stories change and there is always new science.

Tix on sale here. (Edit: Link fixed)

Their Website can be found here.

You can pay at the event but let me know ahead of time if you are planning to attend so I can give them a head count.

Plan on about an hour. Plenty of time before the beach is rideable at low tide in the afternoon.

The center is located in the historic district on Stable Road. There is good signage and you can follow the trail of white sea turtles painted in the road.
