I read this on the site,

In 2013 Nabx became a club. We are not sure where this will take us, but we had to do this in order to pay all the bills we still have to pay, even though we will not be using many of the facilities we put deposits on.

I don't understand, can you explain?

Jeff,

I can't explain it either. Am I disappointed sure but I will be there spending about $2000 in fuel to get there with my trailer.

It will not stop me from seeing friends and land-sailing my manta, Chip will be bugging with his revs. Drinks will be shared and stuff fixed and tools lent Not because there is an organization or club because thats what I do.

What will the future hold, none of us know but we cant go back.
To my friends and family looking to seeing you again. To my new yet to be friends welcome.

BTW in case your interested my favorite libation is OP (other peoples).

I will be spending about the same, I only hope the cost of getting ready isnt as much as the trip. And yes, I will have a bit of something to drink, whether it's in your cooler or mine, as long as it's cold.

I am puzzled by the cost of the event. No one would spend money on things prior to getting the permit would they? Would be like buying tires, wheels, and a stereo system for a truck you have yet to buy, let along find.
Maybe I could find a small economy car, cut the body off and try to weld the wheels and tires on, then remove the trunk lid and strap the sound system in and onto the trunk. Duct tape the speaker boxes to the roof, then I could share my music with the world.

I am also confused about the " club " thing ? I have always had a feeling that anybody not attending Pre 2004 was not in " the club " ?

Does this mean that SBBB is a club or NABX ?

Nice to see NABX 2114 is already in the works !

I'm sure everything will work out as long as we all ignore the man behind the curtian !

That's pretty much how every home brew computer is built.

Had the lock, helmet (still remember trying it on in the office in the middle of the night and scaring the bejeebers out of the security guard, when I popped up from a cubicle), gloves, boots (still remember walking home in them), jacket, etc. months prior to finalizing what motorcycle I was going to get and securing the loan.

Life isn't always like the movies, but you hold out hope for the times it comes close.

Sam
