I think that the original Phantom graphics have yet to be beat ! Simple yet eye catching.
Like cars, all kites are starting to look the same to me ? Nice graphics indeed but I'm not sure it will be outstanding next to all the other busy
graphic kites out there.
That new strutless kite ( maker name witheld ) stands out not only because of it's unique design but it's simple graphics. I had really expected PL
to be designing outside the box like that? At least trying to break into the race kite market? Ozone broke into the LEI market by offering something
new. Gin offered similar to what PL is offering and we know how that went?
Kites: 2.5m Profoil , Quadrifoil XL kitesurfer, NPW 5 Danger.
Flexifoil: 1.7m Sting, 4.9m Blade 3, 9m Blade 2.
Flysurfer : 19m Speed 2 SA, 7m Pulse
Peter Lynn :18m Phantom, 15m Synergy, 10m Synergy, 1200 Farc, 460 Sarc, 130 Tarc, 5m Peel, 4.2m , 6.4, 8.5 C-Quads, 3.5 LS2 single skin.
Rides: Flexi / P.L. Frankin'Buggy , Shaped + straight skiis, sand skis, Coyote blades. Core 95 ATB. RKB R2 ATB .

Meh.... I still think that they're just another "me too" offering in a very crowded LEI market.
I understand and appreciate that LEIs are where the majority of the power kiting market is, but it's disappointing to see another LEI release that
doesn't really bring anything new to the table except their name.
There still is a lot of room for innovation in the power kiting sport.
How about foil-shaped leading edges? This would be easy to do with a LEI kite.
How about new depower systems like the Zeeko one? This streamlines the bar and makes for a very nice and tidy setup.
How about stringers in the seams like Gin and Flysurfer are doing? This would add tension to the sail and maintain the airfoil rigidity.
A new LEI with just another name and a unique sail pattern?
I'm not impressed at all.

You guys are kind of missing the point with the escape...
Good entry level kite that won't just get put in a bag when you have gotten past the learning curve. I would agree that the top performing kites
should innovate but this improves on a pretty good first kite by pl...
I like the new graphics BTW.
