A good addition to the quiver?

This caught my eye, could do with something for the <10mph days (and I just have an urge to buy a kite) Any thoughts on the 7m blurr? Everything I've read so far seems positive.

I would require pictures of the actual kite prior to bidding.

Fair point. Flown once supposedly, and good feedback for the seller. That said, I don't have a lot of experience buying on eBay.. Should I be wary?

Always be careful, ask for specific pics, and ask lots of questions. Don't worry too much about scare sorties, they are the exception.

As for the blurr, no dount a good kite, but i'm not sure about <10mph.. You'd have to ask someone with that kite to work it out accurately.

Well admittedly, sub 10 is probably overly ambitious. I really mean for days where the viper becomes too much work. I've contacted the seller and photos are on the way..

Should be good to start moving around 7-8mph

Looks like a good size to move up to from the 5...

I have the exact same kite in the 5M. I really like the Flexifoil kites, the quality and performance of the Blurr in particular is top shelf. I tend to agree with RonH that you should be ok around 8mph with the 7M. One quirk I have noticed with my 5M is that it's a bit harder to launch than my other kites like it needs just a little bit more wind than you think to get it off the ground but once it's up it will be fine. Might be due to the weight of the Pro Link handles? I prefer not to fly my Blurr in gusty conditions as it does generate some lift. It is a pulling machine but it also does generate a fair amount of lift. Not quite like my Twister but it is something to be aware of in gusty winds for sure. Good luck, I like mine a lot!

I also agree with Ron.

I had a 7m Bullet ( similar ) it was my low wind kite for a while and I sat out a lot when others were out on 10 - 16m kites.
