It's alway been kind of a pet peeve of mine that in Dual-Lines and Quads (Rev-Type), there's always been a history of pairs/teams flying. As soon as you get to foils though, it seems like there's some kind of unspoken taboo or bias against it.

One of the common complaints is that after awhile static flying gets monotonous and boring. I expect that would less often be the case if there was active interaction with 1 or more other pilots where the primary goal was not accident/collision avoidance.

Maybe it would be more prevalent if so many folks didn't spend so much time flying solo.

And of course, what sparked my interest in traction foils.... and also turned out to be my first 2 quad-line foils. They did some CGI trickery to bolster the total number of kites in the air and the circling kites for the ident part at the end, but it doesn't detract from the warm fuzzies engendered by the video. The kites in use are custom Flexifoil Stings and apparently some of the pilots are famous in the UK.

ATB,
Sam

Sam, you will have to come Garry Point. It's the home of stupid things to do with a power kite when there's not enough wind to buggy. Now if I could just come up with some stupid shi! to do with a kite when it is too wet to fly. I know, I will make bad videos.
S

You have to watch these four guys fly; they are so tight it's like they fly as one.
