What is Airstyle?!

The NJ crew was out kiteboarding for the first time since before Sandy destroyed our favorite riding spots!
What a great feeling :singing:

Ran into this vid a couple of months ago, instantly became one of my all time favorites. Hope this keeps everyone stoked through the short week!

Love that video Martin.

Cheezy, 6 of us met at a new spot on The Barnegat Bay. Decent light wind session and toasty warm in the drysuit.
Our local spot, Sandy Hook, will not be back until next spring or later from the damage caused by Sandy. Stopped by the Ranger Station last week to see if we could offer help with cleanup. They said the electric and sewer system was devestated by the storm. At least 6 months to restore the infrastructure, THEN they will start cleanup :no: He said check back in April to offer help.
The town of Sea Bright 2 miles to the South looks like a war zone and it will take months of restoration before folks can move back to their homes and stores rebuild and open. I have a few friends there. EVERY home and business was flooded and damaged by the strom surge. Surge was 13' over mean tide with record breaking 30+ foot waves pounding the shore. Donovan's Bar, a favorite bar/restaurant, is completly gone. They cleared the roads and opened the town to residents and contractors last week. I drove through Sea Bright today and the mountains of sand and debris is unreal. Sea Bright is just one town along with countless others that got torn apart by Sandy up and down the coast. Sad.

All the videos below are in our county. We live 3 miles inland of Belmar which is seen in the last 2 videos . We lost 4 large trees in the yard and no power for 12 days. Got off easy.
