Help me with the sizes!!

Hi there

Im very new to this sport. I have been surfing with my friends gear some times now. And now i have decided to buy my own.

My local dealer gave me an offer that i want to use:
I can get a Bandit 6 12m and Hadlow ID 10m or i can swap to this:
Hadlow ID 12m - Bandit 6 9m.

What would you choose? I weight 75 kilograms and ride here: http://www.windfinder.com/forecast/klitmoller_center

Thank you!! See ya in cold hawaii! :D

... what friends gear have you been using, and how did it feel?

Isn't the Hadlow a C-kite?

Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

Find out what shape the kites are, I would not recommend a C-kite to any newb when SLE's are so user-friendly.

Tide? What's a tide? Man, it's 1000 miles to any ocean.

One of guys in our club purchase Hadlow this year ..... This is very difficult kite ... Hes been kiting for 4 ? years and still have problems with that one .... He fly ot only when wind is perfect with no gusts and it takes a while to relunch .... Those are good kite but I think its better to have some skills before you jump to that selection ..... If this is you first LEI I would pick a bow kite instead .... or something like Bandit witch I think is delta ....

I think that the hadlow ID is the bridles version. It is a hybrid with a "C" shape but Bridled depower. I would guess that both will fly fine with penty of depower but the bandit will relaunch better in light winds due to its swept leading edge. I would want the bandit as the lighter wind kite, but would also want a the wider gap in the range (i know those are conflicting thought for you choice.)

Get the Bandit 12 & 9 - would seem the most suitable to learn on. The ID is a freestyle kite so get it when you are doing freestyle. Huge amounts of lift are about the last thing you want as a learner.
