Gulf Shores, AL

I'm going on vacation to Gulf Shores the week of 19th - 25th this month. Anyone have any info on the area? The beach area I'm going to be around is 30.235786, -87.766719
Does low tide expose a good amount of packed sand for some landboarding? Kitting allowed in Little Lagoon?

I've been watching weather.com and the way it looks I may only get to fly a small stunt kite. :sniff:

Picked a bad week for wind. the only windy day that I could use was only enough for landboarding. Unfortunately the beach didn't want to cooperate. Tried on the most packed area of the sand and all my board did was dig in. The sand there is way to soft.
