Info from Kiters in SE England, East Sussex

Hi Guys, Are there any kiters on this site who are local to the Tunbridge Wells area? I'm hope to go climbing at Harrison's rock at the weekend but the rocks may be too wet so want to take my landboard and kites as well just in case. Does anyone know where I can do some boarding/kiting in that area - without getting myself arrested....or shot!!!!

I'm 20 minutes down the road from Tunbridge Wells in Heathfield East Sussex.

Can't think of anywhere over there where you can kite.
It's all pretty much forested. I think there might be a sports ground behind Tonbridge School where a few people go.

There's a group of us that get together most weekends. You're welcome to join us. We usually landboard and buggy at the sports grounds at Purley Way Croydon on the way to IKEA or down the coast at Cambersands, East Sussex or Greatstone in Kent, about an hour or so down the M20, Ashford J10, New Romney or Rye.

Anywhere near Norwich?

My wife and I will be traveling from the States later this summer following the Olympics to visit some relatives living in Norwich. Is that anywhere near you guys buggy? How about Yarmouth? Could use some suggestions on where we should go to get our "fix"? :tumble:

The beach at Mablethorpe isn't too far from Norwich. It's where popeyethewelder and others go for their fix. Maybe you could email him.

Norwich is quite rural and everywhere else is going to be a mission to get to.

Thanks for the tip Red Sky - don't think I'll make it to Croyden so will take my chances at Tonbridge. Yet to visit Cambersands - never got round to it, I'll get there at some stage.
For the record Jakass is just my name abbreviated - seems to have stuck with me though - definitely shorter than 'Reckless idiot with a deathwish' which is what most people call me!!!

Get down the Camber when you can. Flying inland will never be the same again. :)
