Advice?

I have been flying foil's for three years just about.
I have mainly used my rad sail pro 3m with a
Land board up and down the beach. Awesome kite,
Super fast and responsive but you do have to work
It quite s bit to get adequate pull. So I bought a blade 3
6 meter. This thing was a slug. Pulls like crazy but just
Doesn't maneuver. Couldn't even get it to loop. Or maybe
I did once or twice but it damn near took the whole
Window to do it.
Is this typical when you move to larger kites?
I did notice the blade had more of a c canopy shape.
I just want something with a bit more pull that can
Maneuver at the same time.
Any suggestions on brands/sizes

the blade is a extremely high performance kite. with correct handle placement you should be able to do allot with it. try using more bake input.

remember this is a fixed bridal ... not depower

Are you flying on handles or a bar?
If on a bar that explains it .. if on handles do like above and try more brake input in the turns ... also what is the wind speed we are talking about? If your under 8-10mph that will also explain the slow turning.

For the most part the bigger the kites get the slower they will turn (with exceptions of course) but the blade 6m should be able to spin on a tip.

Yes.

What you describe is exactly the feeling folks get when flying a bigger kite size for the first time. And 3 to 6 is a big jump. It's like going from a little car to a biggish truck. Also B3 6.6 is not a fast-turning kite for its size due to its high aspect ratio. Wing-tip turns? They'll come with practice, and the right winds, as Dakitez sez, but no 6m will feel like a 3m.

Flexi rage / PKD buster / HQ beamer are all medium aspect kites that will turn a bit quicker, but not that much quicker if you have them in 6m size.

My 8 used to feel like a schoolbus, now it's quite chuckable compared to my 12. Never flown a bigger fixed bridle (they max out at around 17m) but for sure they are not designed to be thrown all over the sky like a 3m.

You'll need to adjust your flying style.

That's one of the very best kites you have there. Don't give up on it.

fixed bridles, flying static, been two years now... ??? folks must be wondering....

sting 1.7, dp power 2.5, crossfire 3.2, ace 5, blade iv 6.5, ace 8, ace 12...

also a couple of arcs, 12 syn and 12 phanny, but i\'m not yet up to speed on them.
