Sorry if my response offended you. It was an opinion which you asked for. No reflection on you for not knowing what my opinion would be.

the 10m blade 3 has gotten some positive marks on a depower/bar set up.. but not a reg bar.... whatever floats your boat tho... the ViP is kinda slow as is (unless it is LIT UP!!) so the added input and control of the handles is nice to make it seem "snappyer"

I gots to whip my kites to get my heights!!!

As far as the Turbo Bar goes, it all depends on the kite. PL's and Century's I've tried on the bar have been woeful to ordinary as they prefer front line input. Methods, Imps, Flows, Beamers, seem fine with rear line input and fly perfectly well with the bar. I would never argue that handles give you four independent inputs to control your kite which the turbo bar cannot do. But, I would also argue that I've never needed to do anything with the kite that I could not do with the turbo bar. And as it 'magnifies' the brake input when turning, it can turn a seemingly slowish kite into something really zippy. I flown a Blade V 4m on the bar and it flew and turned beautifully. It certainly does not 'dumb down' the whole experience - other types of bars may well do that, but I have no experience with them.

Yeah I had a hunch there could be a right fit for the blade on a bar. I'm not planning on making the purchase anytime soon, but I DO plan on owning a blade sometime in the next few years.

my 8.5 was on a bar and flew fine..................the 8.5 is a slow turner either way (slower on the bar)...............relaunch in low winds can be more difficult on a bar..........horses for course but blades rock.........................with experience you can hold a 4.9 in 20-23 mph winds and the lift is incredible....................strength and stamina required for sure!!;-):lol::duh::duh:
