NAPKA 2012

Hello all! I would like to take a moment and say thank you to those who have supported me in my running for the 2012 NAPKA position of President. I have a great support team behind me in the new and experienced officers of NAPKA. It is my goal to help NAPKA grow and continue to be the great organization that it is. I am going to be working closely with the rest of the officers in introducing to those that do not know what NAPKA is, and how it works, learn what NAPKA can do for them. I would like to see people use NAPKA in a lot more ways. I want new clubs to form and see members take full advantage of the resources that NAPKA has to offer. So many of us joined NAPKA just to help out fellow kiters in the beginning. It is time to really understand what NAPKA is and use it to it's fullest.

The original founding fathers set this organization up with great intentions. It has worked for those who know how to use it. Now that the kiting population in North America is gaining speed (especially on the East Coast) New clubs should be forming all over.

For those who don't know what NAPKA is you can visit the home page at www.napka.org . This will give a brief overview of NAPKA. It's not just about buggy races. It's now about Fun events, practice events. Just plain get togethers with other NAPKA members, being responsible pilots, education and safety are key's to the future of our sport. Buggy's, ATB Boards, dirtsurfers welcome!

Soon there will be a page here on NAPKA and other clubs. Come join in the conversation and see what it's about. Ask questions. We can get answers. I know there are many that used to be members and are no longer. I would like to welcome you back.

More than anything, I would like NAPKA to become more user friendly. Making starting clubs and having insurance easier!

Again I thank all those who supported me and I look forward to seeing what I can do to help NAPKA pilots and clubs in North America.

If you have filled out your waiver form and sent in your photo for your last enrollment and have not received your Pilot card for 2012 please contact me.

Let's think positive in 2012
