I will be in Galveston Tx. next week at a week long conference. I am planning on taking the kites since I will be right on the beach. i am going to try to squeeze in some rides in the late afternoon.

Do any of you local guys have a good spot to recommend or want to meet up? I don't know any of the local do/don't spots to try to ride.

land or water ?? I'm game. I got buggy, landboard, and kiteboard. Let me know what day and some of us locals here can meet up with you. Are you gonna be here for DBBB? My last video was at East Beach. Nice place to landboard or buggy.

I have gear for both water and land but no wet suit if the water is to cold. I will probably stick to the landboard. (Buggy won't fit in the work car) Since it is a work trip I have classes all day so I can only play after about 4:30p. How far away are you? So East Beach is where to go?

if you can play, the water is a bit chilly, hovering in the high 60's right now... tuesdays gonna be windy

yeah .. you're gonna have to sneak out a little earlier to have time to play. Good thing is you are already there so would only take a few minutes to get to east beach. I will have my buggy if you want to make some runs. I might have a second buggy ready by monday next week so I will have two buggy available for demo if you would like to ride. I also have a scrub and a flexboard.

I tested the water this weekend and it's not too bad. you could surf without a suit if the weather warms up next week. it was high 70's on the weekend and the water was cool but not too cold.

I will double check the schedule and figure out when I might be able to sneak out. The conference is over on Thursday at noon I think. Maybe we can plan for Thursday afternoon. I will keep you all posted. I would love to get a buggy run in!
