Checked the forecast... tomorrow, thursday, and from sunday out all show high teens wind, sun and temps in the 70's... water temp is in 70's, too...


who is going kitesurfing, and when and where????

I am going to try to get out this weekend.....Boerne lake for a test run with the new Flysurfer and Slingshot board!

ha... dont be surprised if my mom comes and says hello... hows the launch/ land / wind shadow at that spot??

i was a novice last time i was in the area, but seemed to be roomy enough...

That is the only real problem......area. The lake is not wind shadowed and free of power boats. I took wind speeds and they are pretty non-gusty given being in the middle of the Hill Country. I really need SE winds to be ideal....but it is only 30 min from the house which makes me want to make it work. Landing and take off areas are tight but I think it will be ok. I really want to go to the coast...Port A. or Galveston....it is just hard to get out for the whole weekend.

Agree this week looks like good manta wind I am excited if only i can get away from school.

Man .. you're making it hard for me to leave TX and head to NJ for the Wildwood event!!! I hope the wind holds when I come back. I've been itching to hit the water.

Come to port a, corpus.... I have been kiting everyday for the last 2 months......If the gulf is a little light head to cc bay or the other flatwater spots and it will be crankin.....

Let me know if your comin this way and i'll give you the info on all the best spots.....

Looks like the wind is carrying on into next week as well.

I can't go kiteing today, but the weather man says "East winds 10 to 15 mph in the morning becoming southeast and increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. "

yah... this afternoon looks killer... hopefully i will feel better by then... think kitesurfing with a cold would be a bad idea???? 'cause im seriously considering it

Come join us next weekend... We'll be by "stonehenge" on the other side of SLP. I pland on doing some bugg'n and kiteboarding.

Have a CrazyFly and a new fishing reel to try out. Lotsa surf... talk about a perfect combination to try out new toys.

More wind this week. Blowing 15-20 next few days, dead onshore. Excellant setup for water or land. Thinking of hitting the levee tomorrow and the beach for the weekend. Graet for kites... and my new reel needs a bull redfish to test it out (and fish tacos are always great after a day of kiting).
