I was wondering which kite would be better. I was thinking about going with the rush pro 350, or any tensor. I just don't know which one is better
for me? I am a heavy person and i like jumping, i've been kiting for a while but i am still a novice.
Thanks
P.S. I will not use this kite for boarding, buggying, or surfing.
If you have a significant amount of air time under your belt, you might consider a new or used Peter Lynn Twister or similar.
If you don't already have the air time on a beginner friendly kite, I would put the idea of jumping on the back burner entirely.
Don't take this wrong (no offense meant), but if you haven't already thought about and stocked up on pads, helmet and safety gear, you're thinking
about the thrills and chills of boosting without thinking about what happens when things go south.
Search back through the forum for "Jumping" or "pendulum jump", there's a lot of YouTube footage on some fairly impressive fails.
The Rush Pro Pro 350 is a 3 line trainer and it is easier to redirect a 4-line fixed bridle kite in the air, which will determine how slow or (scary)
fast you land with a quad line. The Tensors are not particular lifty kites. Chances are the same winds that would lift you on a Tensor would leave
you overpowered.
Jumping safely (?) and successfully (?) requires are certain comfort level with the judging flying conditions, the wind window, kite control, and the
safeties of a particular kite. Coming up short in one or more of those areas will result in:

Don't mean for all of this too sound too preachy. Stay safe.

I train with Tensor 3.1 .... and play with it for very long time before trying to jump..... This kite is design for pull, not lift and its very
hard to get air with it... (3m) I love this kite because bar that comes with it can be quickly transformed to handles to let you learn kiting both
ways... also adjustable setting on lines let you adjust power and brakes .

If you want to jump safely on a fixed bridle than your best bet is to get a Blade III or higher 6.5m or higher, or a Twister II 5.6/7.7. I prefer
jumping on depower because my wind here is really rough; but if you're experienced and have butter smooth wind, go for the kites above.
Depending on how much time you've had under your belt, the conditions you've flown in, and the kites you've flown, you may be ready to step up to
something more exciting. All kite companies have to release a statement with their kites that says something along the lines of "This kite is not
intended for jumping, man lifting, or any other of these activities." Well that's a lie. Of course they make kites for jumping. The worst thing you
can do though is try to catch big air on a kite that's NOT meant for jumping... Like a Flexifoil Rage or Prism Tensor.
Think you could provide a little more background info?
