Depower Mod Ozone Flow 4.0

I am posting here the depower modification of an ozone flow, with friendly permission from flo aka http://www.youtube.com/user/MrFuelburner39 . watch his channel, he might soon upload a video of his depoweremodded flow in action.

the nice thing is, that the ozone flow has only A, B and brake rows. so it is an optimal candidate for an easy one-pulley depower mod.
another good thing: the flow has a thick, stable profile. i think this also helps to keep the kite stable if depowered, at low angles of attack.

hope that is of interest to some of you.

Very interesting makes me wonder if I could do my little devil 4.5 that way

Would probably need two pulleys for mine I think there are more rows

Post video let us know how it works

(please note again, its not my kite and not my mod, i just uploaded the photos here)

yes, i hope that flo will post a video, soon.

@looking_up: if you have three rows, maybe first try to depower the C-Row only. i did that with my peter lynn twister 7.7 and another testflight yesterday showed (subjectively) that i gained at least 1:2 depower and that the kite gained more speed and gets closer to the windwindow when depowered. also loops a bit faster. and all that without loosing its wonderful lowwind capabilitys. it seems as if it is just a win. no drawbacks yet noted (ok, a bit more tangling due to the primitive selfmade depower mod / pulleys).

I think all Li'l Devils are bridled with clusters of A, B, and C primaries gathered to a secondary, rather than having A primaries to a secondary, then B primaries to another secondary, C primaries to yet another secondary, etc. You'd have to pull the bridle assemblies apart and figure out (or guesstimate) length of additional secondaries to add in. Bottom line, not a good candidate for depower mods.
