snowspider kite sled 47.8mph
I wanted to break 50mph but this may be as close as I get this year, 47.8
3-5-11 Onondaga lake Syracuse NY , very gusty 20-30mph , a little rain , surface smooth but with a skim of water , really tested my kite and sled
skills in the turns ,easy flying on the long runs all two of them. I left the ice pretty wet but I had to fly , smooth ice is so rare around here.

Dave I'm pretty sure you could skip across the water with this thing.
I'm going to give it a try this summer just for fun.
