snowspider kite sled 47.8mph

I wanted to break 50mph but this may be as close as I get this year, 47.8
3-5-11 Onondaga lake Syracuse NY , very gusty 20-30mph , a little rain , surface smooth but with a skim of water , really tested my kite and sled skills in the turns ,easy flying on the long runs all two of them. I left the ice pretty wet but I had to fly , smooth ice is so rare around here.

Good on ya, ss. Maybe it'll freeze up tonight and be smooth for ya tomorrow. I'm hoping to get up to Hanno's in the morning, give the board another try.

Dave I'm pretty sure you could skip across the water with this thing.
I'm going to give it a try this summer just for fun.
See you at WBB ( maybe I'll have the waterskis on one by then)
