Ouch man, that looks like it had to be real painful. Not the most forgiving surface at low speed, let alone 50mph.

Sometimes when you push your limits the limits push back right?:wee:

What can I say? I like fast women and sometimes when you chase fast women you get burned.

Had a little issue with a spar and it caused a front end collapse on one side throwing the kie into a loop. I should have done a preflight check but I slacked off in my hurry to get out and burn some miles.

I'm lucky it didn't happen a few days earlier when I went 70mph. I don't think I would have walked away from that one.

The lesson here is check your gear, check it often.
