One day man. We plan it right we can get coast to coast representation.
Any events happening there the last 2 weeks of April? I've heard of others that make it a sort of pilgrimage and wonder if it's because of an event.

Hey you might see the group from Ontario down there at the same time - I think there will be 1-2 twinskin users in the group - and AJ is down there.
Too close on the heels of NABX for me .... but there is a second group going in May...

No events that I know of but it's good spring winds and coming from our winter it's the nice transition before our water and temperatures warm up.
Good winds, warmer and still cheaper rates.

:wee: had an epic trip this year. Awesome crew (something like 40 of us from Manitoba and Saskatchewan). Great wind, great temperatures, lots of sun,
lots of downwinders on both the soundside and ocean. 14 for 14 days. Not another Twinskin in sight. Seen a few Flysurfers (maybe just the same guy
though).

Summer is officially here. Surf was perfect conditions Fri / Sat and I was toasty in my 3/2. I'll probably just wear an insulated rash guard when I
do a downwinder later today (wind is forecast to be 15-20+ air temps in the 70's). Loving the banks!

I'm finally here. Yesterday was my second day on the water. I'm at the point of practicing board starts. The longest I was able to ride yesterday was
about 30-40 ft. We didn't hope for any wind yesterday, but it picked up around 4pm and we spent the rest of the day in the water, until sunset. Wind
predictions are good for today.

Get out of here, really? Jeesh, I'm just 100 mi south of you guys and it never got over 15 mph all day. That's enough to make me want to jump on the
ferry and head north! What's the ocean water temps like up there? It's warm
enough for just baggies down here.

Heading down Thursday night. I'm hoping the forecast I'm looking at is a little on the light side (hoping for more wind). In either case, it'll just
be nice to get out of DC...

Went to the beach to kite just as the front passed and switched the wind from side on to side off. :P Went home for lunch, came back and surfed some
waist to chest high barrels. When you live on the banks, it's good to have more than one sport in your quiver.
