Does anyone know of a place close to Branson, MO (USA) to do some static flying? We are going there in a week and I want to do some flying if possible. Seems like the last time I was there a few years ago, it was all trees everywhere... Then again, I wasn't looking for a place to fly a kite either.

Rats.... I guess not. I leave in 1 day, and I guess my kites won't be going with me. :-(

Take em with you, you never know... if space is an issue MAKE ROOM... its kites, & they are #1:wink2:

Dangit! Dude I just flew outta Branson on Tuesday. There's a great place in Springfield about 26miles away. I'll be back in a few weeks but I'll miss you there I guess

I checked the actual address of the place we are going to be at and it is in Ridgedale, MO, so it is on the opposite side of Branson than Springfield... Rats.

We took the kites to Branson, but never got them out. Every day this past week was super hot/humid and pretty much zero wind. We did manage to find a few places that would have worked, but with no wind, it didn't matter much... :-(
