My 12 v PC muffin fan meets the JIA (Jekyll Island Authority) specification of no internal combustion engines on the beach (excepting permitted
official vehicles) ...but with the wind forecast it should not be necessary...

So the restriction is against internal combustion engines? Then battery powered leaf blowers would be okay, just not gas powered ones? Or are they
not likely to be that discriminating and just confiscate all of them?

JIA folks are really cool and anything would be fine, there is just am eco-friendly theme to the beach. But they even give me a permit to drive on
the beach for JIBE for loading and unloading gear.
Mougl should be having fun now; winds currently SE at 20 mph. Nature's giant leaf blower.
