Question for Southern California and Nevada Flyers

How have the winds been down South and to the East?

Any changes in climate? Warmer winds from the South?

Just curious - looking at trends and patterns.

No, just looking at state wide effects of the el nino - and its further reaches. Been noticing strange things like the recent storm that came up through Texas from what looked like the Gulf of Mexico on into the mid-Eastern coast was causing snow storms. I don't get that. Curious to why and how. Thanks for the offer though. But the current patterns are not boding well for the event - current rain patterns are unabating - wind is storm driven only with accompanying rain. Having been out on a wet playa I can tell you it is one unique mess. Here's to things changing.

We had wind out of the south all afternoon yesterday in the Portland area (of course I had to work) and it was quite cold. Wind out of the south here is usually pretty warm this time of year.

Aim low. Reach your goals, and avoid disappointment.
