Is it the one on ebay?
I can't afford it at that price.
I figure a used iv would sell for a bit cheaper.

just go for it!

I was pretty irresponsible about how good my finances were when I got my blade (700 US incl shipping to HK from US and worth every cent) but I've never regretted the extra $200 or so in finance charges.

fixed bridles, flying static, been two years now... ??? folks must be wondering....

sting 1.7, dp power 2.5, crossfire 3.2, ace 5, blade iv 6.5, ace 8, ace 12...

also a couple of arcs, 12 syn and 12 phanny, but i\'m not yet up to speed on them.

Does it come with handles or is it just the kite?

Thanks a lot furbowski!
I'm afraid it is a little too much for me right now(sorry DAKITEZ).
I was hoping on finding a used blade iv 6.5 with strings/ handles for somewhere between
$350 and $450 bucks.

a b iv 6.5 RTF for $450?

you might possibly see prices come down that far by this coming winter, but I wouldn't bet on it.

i see you also posted on the b ii 6.4 thread.

if you want more info about that kite try u2uing bladerunner, if he hasn't flown the kite he'll know who has and can give you an opinion.

a third route is to get a peter lynn twister. the 5.6 is at the low end of your budget RTF, the 7.7 is at the high end of your budget RTF.

never heard of anybody disappointed with the twister.

I guess I may have to wait until winter if I can't find a Bade iv within my price range.
I will take a closer look at the twister though.
It just seems like the Blade is a very popular and well thought of kite- I mean it even looks as though you have one!
Thanks again for your guidance.

yes, I have an awesome kite there !

but if Flexifoil makes awesome kites, then Peter Lynn is a very close second and very cool as well!

the twisters are worth a serious look, and they hold their resale value as good as a blade does.

I'd get the 4.1 if I had cash, they're said to be more stable than the blade, which is really good in the lower sizes.

Always good to buy kites with a quiver in mind! You'll do it anyways, so plan ahead!
