Been twice in the last 4 days and thought I'd start a thread.
This past Sunday had WNW winds 15G25, but very rideable. Already posted a video from this one here:

Went again today, and despite a lackluster forecast, winds were a sustained 18 gusting into the low twenties. Another 8"-10" of snow this past
Wednesday added onto the 12" that was out there. Wind were perfect to compact the snow into a perfectly rideable base, probably compacted to 16" of
total base. Lots of float and rarely edge down to the ice. Snow was drifting in spots that gave nice little 3-4' features to pop off of, tons of
fun.
Was only able to ride for 2 hours today but managed to put on 18 miles topping out at 24mph, not bad in thick powder. Legs are on fire!
Looking forward to more!

Thruway to exit 27 (amsterdam)
like this
I'm going to Tug on Saturday, but depending on how the wind shapes up I may be on Sacandaga on Sunday, either that or Oneida Lake.

Edit: scratch that, no wind today...
