Is pumping/working the kite legal in Class 8 racing if you are not interfering? In almost all water sailing this is prohibited.

Scudley, are you implying that rules for racing with kites should be different than for sailing in boats/landsailors? You jest!!!

In buggy racing you are allowed to pump/work the kite as much as you like as long as you are not impeading another pilots progress.
In fISLY rules you are not allowed back loop the kite as it is seen as dangerous but in the PKA (UK) we made a rule that you can't back loop if there
are other pilots in the area.
