First time flier - flight review

When I got my Beamer 5.0 on Wednesday there seemed to be no wind, but taking my kite out I realise that it's still cool. It dragged me along a bit, was hard work, hurt my triceps in a way that I'm not used to and I eventually figured out the "wind window" and how to turn launch and kill the kite.

Yesterday there was a light breeze, but I thought I'd go out anyway, quite dark, but with my 'no fear' attitude, out I went.

Did a couple of jumps and really got pulled along, then, without any warning I got lifted off of the ground a few feet, and dragged along in teh mud for 20 feet - crikey! At this point I decided to wait till it was light, but OMG was that fun.

... a new power kite fan is born!

All I need to do now is learn how to fly, then build a buggy.

Nice!
