That's right. Not too much snow on the ice. The npw worked great since you can easily 'depower' (collapse) the kite if it is pulling too much :spin:

Its the middle of winter, how come the grass is all brown?:crazy:

The grass goes dormant and the top turns brown for the winter. We did have some cold weather this year with the ground freezing. Things are starting to green up already down here. Winter is almost over for us. It is going to get to almost 70 degrees or maybe over by the weekend.

Hey Herc, for what it's worth, I was able to throw my NPW9 7M (made by the goddess) on a kitchen scale, and it weighed 450 grams.

I took me a while but I remembered where the gram scale was. My scale says that my npw9 6 meter made by me is 410 grams.

I do not know of anyone that has buggyed with a npw-ha. I have stuck with the npw9 because I know it works.

My gram scale only goes up to 500 grams but I have a bigger scale that measures in pounds. I will try and see how it goes with the 15 meter.

:D big ups to kitemaker4, I got to fly the 7M NPW that she made for me in my buggy yesterday, I got an effortless park and ride at 15mph in about 7-8 mph of wind! Thanks again for a great engine, I have dubbed her 'Rasta's Fury'!

The grandsons had no school for the day and after we had ice cream for breakfast we went to the park to play it was a last minute thought. Blaine's board was in the truck but forgot his helmet and so no boarding :embarrased:
