Kites and Buggy Stuff
Now that the bug has been sold, I have the rest to clear out, so:
Apex II - 10m, has previous owner repair, flys fine, super rare
Apex II - 7.5m, in great condition, I'd say 9/10
Apex II - 5.0m, professional repair, cant find it unless its pointed out, flys great 8.5/10
Kites come with bags, all like new, bars (3) + (1) brand new line set, all for $1000, and I'll throw in a Dakine Nitrous
board-short harness and Dakine spreader bar, shipping and Paypal at buyers expense.
Also I have 3 Bigfoot (Nanco) tires mounted on PL std. wheels, so Bigfoot lights, one wheel is missing 1 bearing (20mm) and the spacer, the other two
are complete (12mm).

$500 for tires and buggy stuff, I'll back out $20 for the missing bearing, so $480 for all, again shipping and Paypal at buyers expense,
I dont want to part this out yet, gives someone a great opportunity to purchase sets of now non available gear, anyways let me know, pickup in the
greater Monterey, Ca. is also available (or even preferred :-) Thanks for looking.
Note the discoloration on the downtube pic is aluminum tape I applied to keep the sand out.

OK, the guy who bought the buggy, decided not to take the extras, so I've decided to part it out as follows:
Kites - $350 /ea. shipping and Paypal at buyers expense, or if you take all 3 its $1000 and I'll include the harness, spreader bar, extra new line set
and I found a leash which Ill throw in.
XR buggy seat and siderail pads - $120, shipping etc. same as above
Nanco bigfoot tires w/ Peter Lynn wheels - $180 shipping again as above
PL Bigfoot forks and kinked downtube - $225, same shippin, PP

I guess I've come to the conclusion, its just really hard to sell anything here unless your giving it away, I came to revisit this and lower the
pricing, but I realize there is really no where to go with it, I mean $180 for Bigfoot tires with wheels?, $300/ea. for a matched 3 kite quiver of
depower kites w/ extra line set and harness ? (yeah there not current, but the fly just as goo as they did when they were new)
I can go $200 for the unobtainable Bigfoot front end and kinked downtube.
I must just be out of touch, been doing this for 10-11 years now, just kind of too bad that Ebay is the only outlet for this gear anymore

Unfortunately Ebay or facebook is probably your best bet. There's only five or ten of us in here and that includes the two dogs and the neighbors
gerbil. Forums died when social media took over so there just isn't anyone here for the most part. You'll probably get more exposure on the other
sites. Maybe someday forums will see a resurgence.

I guess pinball would have been a better hobby to invest in. Not many people left kiting on land. I paid $200 Canadian for a MINT ApexII 7.5 almost 5
years back. I might take the 5m if you do decide to "give" it away.

I really miss forums (FlexiFoil, RaceKites, GWTW, Silverfish, etc.). They were such great repositories of information and culture and they are all
but gone. I'm not on FB or IG so I'm really out of touch. often wonder what I'll do with my kites if I sell them. Just looked at ebay, craigslist,
etc. and barely a foil to be seen, let alone one that is reputable. Remember back in the day when you could build a collection by selling and buying
up?? Man, how times have changed.

I'm with you guys - I miss reading all the posts on this forum and the old RaceKites & Foilzone forums.
The iKitesurf classifieds were recently taken down due to so many scammers. I didn't have any luck buying a kite there anyway - they all turned out
to be scams...
