So far so good at WBB

So the conditions have provided riding each day for those that are here so far. More arrived yesterday late in the afternoon and the conditions improved once they arrived providing for a late afternoon cruise for nearly everyone here.

Today's forecast is a little shady for the first part of the day till after lunch then it is supposed to dramatically increase with near onshore winds above 25mph. Should be some good stories to tell after today's late day session.

Thanks for the update, Rich! Upload pics!

I should have been there yesterday, but once again I'm trapped with last minute work. Nature of the biz. And now I'm stuck with all this bread I made for you all:

Chance I can show up for Sunday - will anyone still be around, or do you all pack up early and motor out? I got super hyped up for Sunday when I saw the forecast for straight east at Wildwood, then later realized I was looking at the Long Island forecast. Dummy.

What a wicked day yesterday was. Like clock work, 2pm the winds came in from the south as predicted and built rather quickly. We still had plenty of beach and most of us ran for 3 hours straight till we started losing hard pack. 35-45 and even at least one 50mph pass were made. A few OBE's did occur toward the end of the day as were up to the softer sand edge and that created a little havoc, including for myself. But everyone is ready to go today as another great wind forecast is in store. Again 2 pm looks to be the time when a chance of onshore comes in, we will be ready.
