Ideal handle line setup?

What are your ideal colors for the leader lines on handles? Red on the brakes and what for left right power lines?

Or red blue for left right power and any color for the brakes? Same color or different?

If I had pre made line sets in any length from 1m to 35m at a very good price; how many here are in need of lines and how many sets?

I have always seen red=left and blue=right. I always remember that it is backwards from boatings " red, right ,return"

Sorry Eric. But red right return is for buoys. Red buoys on the right when returning from sea. On a ship the red marker lights are on the port (left)side. Remember. port red wine. If you cannot remember which side is port or starboard. Remember port and left are both four letter words. Sailors never forget four letter words.

I *think* (correct me if I'm wrong here...) red is brakes, blue is steering. Then usually a sewn on tab on the lines for Left/Right. At least that's how all of my kites are set up. And I'm awesome, so you should listen to me.

I humbly disagree with that statement.

Funny, the photos on the flux rtz posted in the other thread have the line colors mixed up. Truly ready to fly :D
Its no wonder they have such a bad reputation with their lines/bridles.

I would prefer red on left, blue on right. If we are only talking about leaders then you don't need the top/bottom leaders to be different color. If the flier can't figure out that power lines are on top then color really doesn't matter.

For me its ' red-right, black-brake and whatever is left must be blue, but its pretty irrelevant. Color coding is a nice idea, but most of the time I get the lines hooked up wrong and I'm not going redo everything just so the colors are right. I just want the brake lines to be on the bottom and the power lines on top, with each handle going to only one side of the kite. ;)

I would be interested in a 25m set depending on the price and what lb the line would be. I am looking to buy 200kg and 100kg lines.
