Spring SOBB 2018

Is it too early to start thinking about Spring SOBB?

Ah...it is always good to hear from my kite family. My real family just does not understand the obsession....and no...I never stop thinking about buggyin or SOBB but when I think about SOBB I start thinking about other things like foosball and the BEST pulled pork EVER! Or what time slot I am going to place my bet on. LOL!

Agreed, kite buggy family is the best.

I don't get your comment on placing bets on time slots.

I miss it too!
Is there any such thing as winter SOBB?
We have had some nice wind up here, but the sideways rain...Lack of daylight is not helping either.
Am I the only one who has googled kitebuggy Mexico?

I don't want to think about tent camping during the winter. It's wet enough during the spring and fall.

Phil's property needs to turn to a "members club" and we build a small cabin for all year usage.

Have not buggied in the rain yet this year but... I have been going through withdrawals and may have to don the rain gear and put up an LEI. It has been almost a month since my last session. I do not know how you inlanders do it. I got a boat and a camp trailer???? Hahaha!

I believe most of the planning comes from Morrie and Shawn. When fall was over we packed the tents, cooking supplies and many other things into Shawn's utility trailer. I believe they also take care of the " buggy camp donation " fund for Phil and set up the port-a-potty and garbage services. Thank you both and anyone else that is part of the planning.

Awroo (Waroo) is getting excited to go cruise the beach and meet some new friends. It also looks like my daughter Cora may come for the first weekend.

Buggy camp and SOBB can't come quickly enough, but I also have projects to finish before then...

If you can come up I am sure you won't regret it. I would love to ride with you again.

SOBB is a real great event with a whole crew of fantastic folks. Buggy camp is a pretty special experience. Dry camping with many shared meals and crazy times every night. Just by donation. Lots of choices of hotels and such if you don"t want to camp.

Sunset beach is huge. 18 miles from seaside to the ship wreck and beyond! In many ways I prefer SOBB over IBX .

I am thrilled I can probably swing SOBB this year but am still bummed to miss IBX.
