Hurricane Matthew go away! Far far away!

Although Hurricane Matthew is on the move, it looks like any impact on the east coast, will be next weekend before the event starts. Way, way to early to tell for sure, but I will be keeping a close eye, and close contact with the authorities in WW to keep up on any needed information. I'm not being over cautious, just letting everyone know that I am keeping up on the possible scenarios.

Only a week left for most of us! A few more days longer for others, can't wait to be on the beach!

Safe travels bigkid!

The fact that you are coming all the way from the West Coast to take part in this event causes me to realize just how amazing it will be.

Enjoy the trek!

Brookrook, you won't find an event with this type of attitude and people on the west side.
Now that I have pissed off the west coast it's a good thing I'm in the Midwest....

I totally understand Jeff, I will call you directly if I need you to detour to my place to hang out for a day if they decide to shut the island down.

That's what it looks like for the time being, yes. I just got the 5pm update from the weather blog I follow and it looks like most damage may occur from Fla to Possibly Va. Then turn off the coast. Current rain and wind forecast say most rain will be here Saturday and the highest winds will also be Saturday for the Delaware, Southern NJ coast line with 2-3" of rain and 35-40mph winds possible. The storm should be off and away from Wildwood plenty by Monday morning.

Now please don't let my concern for the event seem more so than the safety of those that are in the line of the storm from Fla to Canada, I am concerned for all of you, especially the few that will be on the road to WBB by the weekend.

It's looking like once Monday comes, and there is no flooding, wind damage, or loss of power in wildwood, we will be right on track for a great event. Stay tuned for more updates as the forecast comes closer tomorrow inside the 72 hour window.

The last radar and tracking I seen tonight about Nicole was that it will be turning east quickly and should not be a major threat to anyone except maybe Bermuda.

A new forecast model this morning shows a big right hand turn happening as soon as the storm gets to NC coast. Still an unsure pattern, but i also saw yesterday that several weather gurus think the possibility of a loop around is very likely with the storm circling around after it leaves the coast and hitting lower US again. Again time will tell. Keeping everyone down south in my thoughts.

Starting to shape up real nice for WBB. Looks like the weather is going to be great.

While we prep to get ready to hit the road in a few short days, my thoughts are with all my friends down south that are going to be impacted by this huge storm! Get somewhere safe, stay safe, and may all turn out good for all of you after the storm blows by!
