For your trip to Wildwood you will want to take a good tow rope system. Not for the walk of shame but transporting your buggy in and out from the
beach. Think about how you can package your gear for transport on the buggy to and from the beach as well.
A GPS is a luxury item but I love the data it gives me + it keeps me honest on my top speeds.

When I'm buggying at home I don't even bother with a buggy bag because I'm just on soccer fields with my car in sight. I did mount a bottle holder
from a bike on my downtube for a sip now and again but that's it.
Now, when I head down to the glorious playa known as Lake Ivanpah I strap on my Peter Lynn bag behind my seat. In it I carry water, a sports bar or
two, walk of shame strap, and yes, one size larger and one size smaller kite. So, pretty much the same setup as you describe. I may also pack a
windbreaker if I think I might get cold. Truth be told I might also pack a cigar, cutter, and lighter too as I enjoy a nice cigar smoke now and again
and like to smoke when I'm there. If I break down I'll be breaking out my walk of shame leash and limping home.
Beer is good
Last time I needed something that I didn't take with was a phone. 15 miles is a long walk when the wind dies. If I could just get the truck in my
buggy bag......

Bigkid, good post. I did not include my cell phone as a bag item because I have mine in a case on the down tube were I can get to it. Much of my buggy
time is away from people in areas that I would be in serious trouble if I was injured. For me the cell phone is my number one take along item but not
out of reach in my buggy bag.
I'm often in site of my car, so it's nowhere near the same. That said, only things not mentioned I always make sure to have: a wrench for tightening
wheel axle bolts (especially as the one likes to loosen constantly), and a stake for when I need to put the kite down,.
All my NASA Stars live in my buggy bag, but if I'm on the beach I will also add my glucometer, somethings for low bloodsugar (I'm diabetic), and
usually an adjustable wrench just in case.
As many of you said, when we are "playing on the beach" (means the meeting point with all the cars is on sigth) I just have my GPS and the shame
strap.
But when we do some long journey (I have done a couple of 80km/50miles)
I carry the following:
GPS (on buggy) & Gopro (on helmet) sometimes carry a Handy.
cell phone, some money & ID
3 liters of water and some food,
sunscreen lotion
small first aid kit
windstopper or jacket,
bigger, smaller and storm kite,
extra set of lines,
two size fixed wrench (the ones that I use in my buggy)
some bolts & nuts,
small flashlight,
swiss army knife,
shame strap and long rope (10m long)
some zip ties and short ropes
May seem a lot but when you are going to very isolated placed like us you have to be ready, since if something goes wrong, it could take a long time
for the help to arrive.
No place bigger than a postage stamp to buggy around here. Now in the winter it's a different story. Venture as far as you dare on frozen water. A
distant trek and I will bring; Spare kite, cell phone, ice screw to tether kite in a pinch, GPS, energy bars, water and ice picks in the rare event I
should encounter thin ice. My state is not conducive to the buggy side of this sport.

I have to admit I to don't carry a bag. I have a water bottle and my cell attached to the buggy and that's about it. I don't even carry a walk of
shame rope. The beach I buggy on I can drive on. So when I get stranded to far from the truck. I just go get the truck and drive to get the buggy. I'm
kinda lazy like that. I fact I have a set up for the MG that I don't even put it in the truck. I hook it to the tow hitch and simply tow it back to
home base. Yes I'm that lazy! And she's a bit of a beast.
Not to add to the extra goodies in your bag as you decide of what's needed. The more weight you add to the buggy on the rear axle will change the
weight of the buggy and alter the geometry.
It may not be a problem with a few lbs but it will if the weight gets to high. With my rumble seat I have on my buggy to carry a rider on the rear of
my buggy requires an addition of weight on the front axle in correlation to one half of the passengers weight.
You can always add a trailer to the back of the buggy if you have too much stuff. How come nobody mentioned bringing an out house with them?

When not on the beach, I'm adding a small sandbag
or similar weight to aid downsizing and launching a
smaller kite when 6 miles from camp and winds
