Kitesafari in egypt

Hi Tobi

Yes I know them. I was last year on one safari with BigDayz. They make pretty good kitesafaris. During 1 week through the Red Sea. Amazing spots with mostly no other kiters. Its perfect for beginners and advanced kiters. Most spots also have flat, shallow water. And when its no wind, theres also possibility to dive, wakeboard with zodiacs, stand up paddle,...

Cheeeers, Nathi

Does this - conversation- between 2 brand new board members in an oft-neglected forum about a ridulously coincidental experience / question combination seem a little suspect to anyone else?

Has anyone actually been on this one or the Turkey one?

Fun fact. I just did a guided session with a group who was booked to kite surf Egypt for the Christmas holiday. But there were terrorist attacks at 2 of the places on their itinerary so the husband decided to change plans at the last minute and hire us. :D

Kinda got mixed feelings about benefiting from acts of terrorism to be honest. :(

But on the other hand. They loved snowkiting.:P

A little suspect?

You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.... but those who are arrogant fools think they are fooling everybody.... and we are just laughing at them:lol:

If anyone isn't sure...

Look at this old previous post from same two people :

I would strongly recommend Wilko (http://wilko-kitesurfing.com/home) he is located in El Gouna. He focusses on Kitesurfers who want to make progress on the water. Really nice trips =)

I've been to El Gouna twice and can certainly recommend it to as a great destination. I didn't do any kite surfing so can't say much except we stayed at the Movenpick and they had a dedicated team of instructors there as well. I wouldn't worry about terrorism either as El Gouna is a closed area with plenty of guards.
