Snowkite season on hold in Central Alberta!?!?
Due to lack of snow!
After the month of -20C, now it has been above freezing for 2 weeks all day... the lakes are lumpy with re-frozen slush, the fields are muddy and
nearly bare! Open water is starting to show in small sloughs... And all that is predicted is more balmy temperatures, it was +10C today and I was out
in my t-shirt.
How are other prairie snowkiters doing with this winter, is it warm in your location too? I wait all year for this season and we are getting a BUM
deal! Not ready for spring just yet!
