Maybe we should post a link of this thread to the oringal one in the "meet up" section so more people will know. For one, I normally don't check this
section very often...
...and I'm still wondering why do we always meet up around the #6 entrance...what's wrong with 1, 2 or 3?

Couple questions....I would really like to come but....
Where is everyone staying....hotel? I guess camping is available?
I have a three month old....Are small kids acceptable? He is kind of along for the ride at this point....he survived Moto GP in Austin so I think he
is up to it if that does not bother anyone else. Input??
BTW...I cook almost every week end for our friends so I would just need to know what to bring to chip in.

all over the beach.

There is lodging in Galveston,30 min drive to the east.
Camping on the beach is primitive,no water no rr. I will have a 12x12 canopy that you can park the young one under.
Cooking: i will bring a BBQ pit to cook fajitas on. If you would like to bring rice and re-fried beans, that would be cool. Van and l will be bringing
the beef and chicken,cheese,pico,tortillas,salsa,etc
Just come and hang out and buggy ,good time to be had by all

There will be those who camp and sit around the campfire.
Others stay at hotels.
Clute Tx has a good assortment of major hotel chains and is not far at all. Galveston is a lot farther away in comparison, but still within a hour
drive. There are some hotels in Surfside Tx that are minutes away as well. (Clute is about 15 minutes, surfside is 5, and Galveston is 45).
I'm only making a day trip from my house... but there is everything from camping to high end resorts within an hour drive...
I've never looked into the Perrigrine Condo's... but if that was in your budget, you could buggy to where everyone camps.
What do you do with your foils?

I will be down there saturday morning. So is entrance #6 good for everyone as a meeting spot?? I will have my big white tent up. I am hoping to be
there before 10am , depending on when I can get the wife and gets up and going.
I will bring drinks , chips, watermelon, and of course the famous grilled pork on a stick.

winds look ideal for most of the weekend... onshore and mid-high teens... good for the buggies... i went surfing two days ago and the water is
awesome... no need for a suit here ...
ill definitely be coming down sunday morning... maybe saturday night if i get to really jonesin...
