Buggying in Florida?


Im going to be going to Florida to visit my grandma and uncle next month and I am trying to find out if there is any good places to buggy in the Pinellas Park area.

The locals down there go to Treasure Island. It's only 22 minutes from Pinellas Park. The beach above the high water mark is extremely wide and packed well enough to be buggiable even with barrow tires. I was there on a busy Sunday a few weeks back and even with all the people it was viable.

The sand does add more drag than I am used to on hard pack beach. You'll need more power. I sure did. :-)

I was in Florida in Jan. and I recomend treasure island also. Buggys are welcome there and you can buggy there no matter what the season is.
