Good Trader List

On one of the other forums I frequent they keep a good and a bad trader thread going to help identify those sellers who are good to deal with and those sellers you want to avoid.

Buying kites over the internet from strangers can be a risky venture but its a great way to get a great bargain if you have a trustworthy seller.

I want to post here that I recently bought a Mac Bego 400 from DaVinch (Joe). He was a great seller to work with and talk to.

All items arrived on time and in the exact condition specified and the packaging job was excellent - leaving pretty much no risk of damage in transit.

DaVinch (Joe) was fair to deal with and obviously an enthusiastic kiter.

I would recommend him as someone who is good to do busniess with and safe to buy from.

Thanks for your nice word, Wade. I recommend Glenn (bugymangp). He said he treats people the way he wants to be treated and I was treated very nice. Also, Sam (Scoopy). I bought many kites from him and will buy from him again. - Brian

I recently bought a kiteing skimbat 4.8 off of Saskalex and he was very pleasurable. Good deal along with accurate and fast shipping. Product exactly as advertised and he was even patient and considerate enough to sign and email a prommisory note signed before a notary. Top notch guy. Thanks alex

Thanks Tridude! However, I am a bit jealous that you get to fly every day – man, what a life.

I should also mention ogsurf - he sold me his old buggy that he had sitting around the house last year. I was a little surprised to see that is was still brand new in the box!

Bego is on the way, hopefully.
Also, I may have found a shop to get all my misc. items (pulleys, line, handles, etc). Can't wait to get it flying.

also, may take a trip down to San Francisco this weekend and get my blade into some clean wind (conditions permitting).

My luck is hit and miss here in South Lake Tahoe, CA (Too many Trees!), but there are a couple good spots i've found.

Yesterday we had 3-5mph and my Bego would have been up flying had it been in my possession.

Da V, Tridude, B-rock: thanks for your help guys. I feel like I know a little about power kiting since ya'll have spilled your knowledge my way.

happy flying!

I've picked up a few things from people on here lately, and all have been easy and pleasant to deal with.

Dman described his item perfectly, and was quick to ship. :singing:

WJB was easy to deal with, and kite was in "like new" shape as desribed :singing:

Awindofchange (Kent) Was a pleasure to deal with and recommended :singing:

acampbell (Angus at Coastal Wind Sports) is another that I would recommend :singing:

Those are the ones that I've done business with from here on the forum recently. All of them were people that I would gladly buy from again.
