Just got back from the T-shirt Shop. Chris/ PokiteTrash will be especially pleased with this years' design, I think. Heh Heh
Oh, and then there are the "Shipwreck Run" shirts available to those (for a modest cost) to those that come back to camp with one of the pennant flags
that will be planted at the shipwreck site on the southern tip of the island. Phillip will recognize some of the imagery.
Chad, glad to hear you made it Jekyll to see the new park and new environs. More to come. Sorry to miss you but I was inflicting random acts of
customer service to unsuspecting shoppers at the local Lowes. Sux to drive to work and see the smoke stacks at the Georgia Pacific plant indicating a
strong on-shore breeze that I have to miss. Yeah, Blackbeards is re-named "Fins on the Beach". I changed all the JIBE Website references and maps
but it is still bound to cause confusion to the newbies.

It is SO rewarding to find those stretches of beach where you see you are in the clear for more than a mile ahead of you. Making it around the corner
to the shipwreck is quite an accomplishment. The wind angle I had there last time was like a slingshot coming back home from around the corner on the
south side of the island. Faster, faster, faster. At first, we were working upwind to make it to the corner, then as you go around the long curving
beach we ended up on a downwind reach and that just built on the apparent wind you already had going. Unreal. I'm jealous of the riding and all the
people that will be there.

Getting close now! I got to learn to fly all over again.
Put up a kite a couple weeks ago but it was in a bad spot and didn't do too much.
