You can discuss your "right" to trespass with my dog as he's removing your balls. Presuming he can find something so tiny.
In the USA, a contractual agreement is not a "right". U.S. Citizens have rights that are inalienable and not voidable by contract.
Maybe you royal subjects of Canuckistan have a different arrangement with your owners. |
yeah and when your neighbor severes your gas main while drilling a fence post and gas is migrating into his/yourr/and others houses i'd hope you were
home then otherwise i'd just have to wait for your house to level itself then.

Too bad you want to talk merely to insult other peoples politics and "HURR NO TRESSPASS DURRR" instead of actually talking about land access issues
and the like.
You are paying for services from one government entity or another, and every one of those gives people from those companies access to your property,
but congrats on being incredibly proud of your ignorance in regards to this matter. Qwest & Xcel both do not need permission to enter your
property if you have any services from them.
You want to claim your talk is about land access? You should actually talk about it instead of just insulting people.

thread lock requested... awe shucks....
i was going to ask Insect00man what the look was on the faces of his employer/ mortage officer/landlord/kids' school/car dealer, telephone company
etc., etc... was when they "demanded" info from him. i imagine he must of brought a bucket of water or large water gun along to those encounters to
dowse them down.
i was going to ask him how he figures it came to be that he has rights and whom they came from and whom enforces them and how it is when "they" ask
for some harmless info in return they are deemed worthy of the garden hose.
and yes Insect00man they are small especially compared to the third member.

I'm going to just ignore the whole middle of this thread and respond to the original post...
I had a very similar experience last year at a public park. My friends and I were doing our best to keep our kite in the air on a low wind day and
noticed a little legue team headed for the backstop that was nearby the area we were flying in. Before we got there we grounded the kite and moved a
good 100 yards or so away from the backstop assuming they were going to have their pracitce there. About 30 minutes later the coach comes over to
where we are and asks us to stop flying our kite because it's distracting some of his players. We said we would, and then he adds "and you guys
shouldn't be here anyway, we have this park reserved."
Well, I'm a pretty nice guy until someone thinks they're better than me so I politely told him that this is a public park and even pointed to the
sign a few yards away that stated such. I then asked him how he reserved the park. Apparently that was all it took to show this guys true character
because he started cussing up a storm and saying that if his team wasn't watching he would kick our @$$es, etc. etc.
Long story short, I'm not a big fan of those types of people, and I agree, keeping a level head and knowing the rules/laws is always the best course
of action. Sometimes it's just too easy to point out to people that they are behaving badly and I have a hard time not seizing those opportuinties.
I also asked him if he talked that way around his team.

I got people here who like to tell me they're the police or that they're going to get the police and give me a big fine. Being the bastard I am, I
invite them to use my telephone or perhaps I'll call them myself?

Severes it? What if they just moderates it?
My neighbors are smart enough to utilize the (mandatory) "Call before you dig" service.
We Citizens know where we're digging... on our PRIVATE property in the U.S.A..

how do you get "government coercion under threat" from...
Hello can I ask you how many people live here and how old are they and what is the annual household income?
i've heard it said and seen it written that most normal people treat complete strangers far better than their own. what a treat you must be to your
neighbors and your own.
yeah... your neighborhood is the only one on the planet where no line hits ever happen. take another puff dude.
