So the new year is here and circumstances make it that I have now started a partnership with some friends and we are going to start a US Based buggy
manufactury! Soooooooo, these buggies are yet to be designed, so I would love to here from you what your dream buggy would be, what do you want to see
it ook like, feel, etc, PLEASE TELL ME! I really want to know.....Who knows your suggestion might show up in the final design!

Your tooo late, it's already beeen done. The buggy you are dreaming about is a Libre V-Max Full Race / fitted with a Big Foot fork and tires all
around.
Stainless or steal ?
standard or race buggy?
I have concept designs for race rear ends.....
? what's the price point were you looking for....
HELP ME HELP ! YOU give me some kind of specs... to work with and I can design
Dream buggy carbon-fiber but lets be realistic who is going to front 5000,00 for a mach-up
The V-max with BF's is a sweet setup, but for our small parks you really need a small light bug to get up to speed in a hurry. We're more after stuff along the lines of the standard Flexi bug, with a braced back axle for tricking.
Sounds great! If the price is right - I would get one...
Are there any other US buggy makers now?
I will volunteer myself as a test dumby!
I'm with Pablo and David, light is way to go - for freestyle.Would that be nice to have bag full of accesories to switch from freestyle to race or big
foot?
Happy New Year.
Rockville buggys is design by a group out for Utah,
were it is welded that
I can't remember...
wind chariot use to be from the good ol'USA
I do have to wounder why with all this buggy jumping going on...nobody has manufacturer a seat belt to market
Maybe because there is only 2 guys I know in US that buggy jump
I would
love to see more, just to speed up my level of freestyle and jumping.Am I only one lonely jumper in US?
thanks the response, we'll probably start the designing with a freestyle buggy with possible accesories to convert the buggy to specific use (freestyle, race, cruise,...). Then we'll work on a fll race buggy, libre watchout...
FreeFlyFrog,
Just a question...
Would you also take custom modifications on existing buggies?
I don't think you'll ever find a buggy marketed with a seat belt option, most of them claim the bug is only for cruising up and down a beach at
15mph. As soon as they say it's for jumping, they may get stuck with some liability issues related to buggy jumping injuries.
As far as I know, Jellis is the only guy around that makes a proper velcro strap style belt but I'm pretty sure he doesn't reffer to it as a buggy
jumping belt either. Still got to give him a shout on that one, my car seatbelt's working, but his setup seems way better.

Buggies'R'us ( o.k. someone can do better ! )
Easy breakdown for transport. 2 sets of easy swap wheels. For beach and hard surface.
I don't have any real experience jumping with it yet but my Velcro strap seems like a perfect seatbelt so far. I put some red tape at one end for
easy tear away.
Cheap at the Marine shop !
my dream buggy ... XXRACER Std., with Weight Set and add some 3-Spoke Alum. Rims too. if you can copy this, i'd buy it, since it would be cheaper
than having it shipped from overseas to canada.

Are any buggys made out of aluminum?
aluminum
YUP!
Para Storm......
FANDANGOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I don't think they ever went into production, but I'm still drooling over the
B1 Project

having the name "whacky racers" would be pretty fantastic. I know theres a game out there by that name and buggying always brings back the memories
of riding custom cars around. Think of the possibilities of a logo with that name!
I dont know if anyone has taken this name for a bug but... Trick-Trike...that would be pretty great as well. I would be lured into buying one.
I was always fond of Beach Buggies.
Wow guys, thanks for the responses so far! We're listening and taking notes, trust me. Meanwhile the mock up for the first buggy starts soon. We
still haven't picked the name yet so keep the suggestions comming. I'll try to get a web site up soonest and let you guys in on the progress.
Hey tomas how about ,,narly or speedfire''
Thomas,
If you ever come up with a cross between race & freestyle buggy,
maybe you can name it Drag 'n Fly.
(a dragonfly is a kind of bug)![]()
Speedair
Cirrus
Mirage
Just a couple of ideas for names. I wear an XL by the way
How about SAND BLASTER? It sounds fast and fun!
Just put the finishing touches to my dream buggy, but I really need two buggies, one for the beach, one for the field.
The 06 Fandango was good for both though I have to say, and I will build a stainless version when I get the time.
In the mean time, the PTW Panther has been sold, and so once I have added covers and decals my new bug will be my dream beach buggy, 60 by 40 swan
neck, BF Lite on the front aysemtrics on the rear, 1750 wheel centres and a 48mm by 1520 wide rear axle.
Here's a sneak preview http://pic7.piczo.com/Popeyethewelder/?g=17734872&cr=7
