
The trick I've found to starting is to realize that the kite will
pull you in its direction, so unlike a buggy that has lots of traction you can't just force the board to start upwind, maybe someone better than I
can do this
So, similar to a water stat you need to point the board down wind a
bit to get moving then you can steer up wind. You'll need to experiment a bit to lean what a little bit down wind really means! Once you get
going... you'll probably want to stop. I've found the easiest way to do this is to just drive way upwind and raise the kite. You can also send the
kite in the opposite direction or slide, but those are less gentle.| Quote: |
