So, I'm in the middle of a MONSTER project here at work and it's paying $$$$$. I was toying with the idea of treating myself to a crispy new kite BUT
I have the crispy new Access still barely used and really, I don't know what kind of kite I'd want anyway. Not yet.
So, the thought was that I treat myself to an official kiteboard to supplement the plyboard stack I got goin' on. Any recommendations for a board that
will be one of the ones that gets me up on the water for the first time and will favor our generally light winds? Anyone looking to rid themselves of
one so they can buy a new one? Used or new, all that matters is that the board is right for me. (175lb, winds norm 8-12kts)
Or should I find a different "treat" and stick to the plyboards - I'd never blame the board for any lack of success I have on the water.

Your quiver looks pretty good... you going to NABX???
Maybe instead of gear, you should take a trip:Ange09:

Okay, so I caved in. JUST ABOUT added a kite to the quiver but opted instead for a Liquid Force Proof 151 with LF Comp pads & straps! Now I'll
have a whole new reason to celebrate the coming of the open water up here in the frozen north.
If that board can't get all of us boys up here finding successes on the water I'll eat my shirt. And no, I've not given up on the plyboards, likely
never will - I just needed to give myself a "pat on the back" splurge and this seemed right for me. I figure I'll have the full set of plyboards
finished come spring and as long as I can find some more el cheapo Litewave straps we'll have four rideable boards to play with, all different sizes
with one "prover" for those of us (like me) that would like to know it's me, not the board :embarrased:
