So I damaged the edge on one of the tips on my Best snowboard and it has allowed a small area of the top sheet to delaminate. The effected area is
about the size of a quarter but I don't want it to flake off or get any worse. What ty of adhesive should I use to bond it back together without the
worry of it coming off? I know I may only get one shot at the repair because I will not be able to remove any failed adhesive without causing more
delamination for a second attempt at a repair.

You might want to email the board maker or your local ski shop for ideas.
I've had old K2 skis stress fracture at the tips and as the cracks multiply the problem gets worse and worse and then spreads and delams but that was
on older skis back in the day before cap technology. I'm not a boarder so I don't know how they are built but I do know if the board is not built
with a cap type techology and is actually layers of material compressed together and those layers are now seperating, you are going to need to use a
water repellant glue / bonding agent, but often times you can't use epoxy becaue of the heat it dries at it can cause damage to other elements in the
board (and its stiff and tends to crack so you need something maleable).
Is it just the shiny coating thats coming off or is it layers of the deck itself?

It is the top sheet or pretty layer that is coming off. More of a rip and tear like getting your finger nail ripped a bit so it could get worse if
you don't attend to it type of deal. I figure a flexible glue would do the trick but wanted to be sure.

If its just the gloss layer you may have better luck cutting off the piece that has lifted and resealing the exposed portion of the deck, overlapping
the gloss that remains by a half inch or so.
