Hi, I am new to the site. Started windsurfing years ago and always resisted changing to kitesurfing, despite my nagging kitesurfing mates... until I
came across a fab resort in Egypt. My fave place, fab for pros, but for me 'twas fab to learn, the best place i have seen.I thought, if I'm gonna
learn anywhere it has to be here... So, voila, now I'm a kitesurfer.
The place I learnt was called Ras Sudr, and it is fab. I have been there several times, and will definately go again, but would like recommendations
for other places too please... SO if anyone can recommend anywhere else, that'd be fab. Preferably not too far from UK, somewhere with good conditions

Of course there are many exotic locations, but if you want some places closer to home, try Normandy. Plenty of great locations for buggy, landboarding
and kitesurfing near Calais. We surfed Berck a few years ago... loved it! Further south? Try Tarifa, Spain... surfer's paradise with good schools.
