stake?

biglou13 - 5-29-2008 at 07:47 PM

ok i see that kite stakes come with these belt holders.

how do you keep from bending or trashing you seat in an out of buggy?

what if ground is too hard to push stake in with hand? and there are no BFR's around. (big freakin rock)

as a newb i think it would be smart to keep stake with u. im thinking of some kind of stake necklace.

use a rubber hose and some zip ties or just zip tie the webbing{belt holster} to the buggy on the front fork.

Bring BFH {big frickin hammer}

neck lace "NOT GOOD" might end up as permanent place to tie down the kite :evil:

Small diameter steel is easy to push into anything. Aluminum rod is lighter, but has to be larger diameter not to bend, then is difficult to push in. Definately get some vinyl tubing and zip-tie it to the front fork - it holds a stake well. Never keep it on you or loose in your seat. If you flip the bug and OBE, you do not want to play "Vlad the Impaler"
