What is the difference between the phantom, venom, scorpion, bomba and the guerilla. they all look the same to me and I have only flown a phantom 16m once. I am looking at getting a guerilla and want to know what I am getting into. which would be best for a buggy

I believe the phantom is very high AR, the scorpion+venom+guerilla medium AR, and the bomba, a big fat sausage. The only real difference is technology upgrades from the bomba, and their AR, the higher AR turning faster and going farther upwind. So the bomba is a good learning kite, that wont kill you, and the phantom will be a challenge for even a good kiter. The higer AR will have less lift overall, but can turn faster to generate that extra amount when you need it. A bomba will loft more sitting still than a phantom, but the phantom is a better jumping kite as you can whip it around faster and produce more lift off apparent wind. I'm sure most of this is old news to you, but I have nothing better to do. Go join ARCusers, they will b full of answers!

Guerilla was a medium AR kite, and Peter Lynn's second kite to be sold commercially AFAIK, back when they only sold one model arc.
The Guerilla II was its replacement, the smaller sizes were pretty good in stronger winds, but lacked bottom end (worse than the Guerilla I).
Phantom and Scorpion are both high AR kites, designed for landboarding/buggying, lots of depower and range, faster turning than the Guerilla I. The Scorpion is an updated replacement for the Phantom.
The Bomba was a low AR kite intended for surf and newb's. Turned out to be a nice kite, but not as much range as the Phantom.
The Venom I and II were the replacement for the Guerilla I and II, a medium AR kite with better bottom end, range and turning speed.

I think any of these kites would work on land, but the Phantom and Scorpion were purpose built so are probably better overall on a buggy.
